In every part of the world, you can find little hidden gems, beautiful places that are absolutely charming but that you probably don’t even know exist. We’re looking at one of these gems right now. This is a 300-year-old windmill from Norfolk, England which was once owned by actor Roger Moore. It’s been converted into a lovely retreat which you can book via Kettcountrycottages.
The windmill house can accommodate up to 7 guests and features a James Bond-inspired theme throughout. There’s 4 floors in total and a series of outdoor spaces and additions to complement them. There’s a fairly big lounge area with two sofas and a bar and one of the sofas can be converted into a double bed. There’s also a big circular kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances including a washer and dryer and a fridge for drinks.
A pair of patio doors lead onto a lovely wooden deck with a dining table and a few chairs and with a magnificent view towards South. Going up to the mezzanine level you’ll find a circular double bedroom and then on the second floor another single bedroom with a big round bed positioned between two windows. The third floor can be used as an office or a dressing room and the fourth and final floor is a beautiful lounge area with a lovely balcony.
